Dawn on day four. This little chapel is out the back side of the hotel.

We were on our way down to the salt flats. This is an eerie area of flat expanses of alternating rock hard and quicksand soft salt and sand. 

In the fish camp along the pacific. This kid had guided an American and had done such a good job that the guy had shipped him a bicycle. The kid didn't really know how to assemble it or maintain it.

The guy working on the bike owns a bicycle shop and was waiting for a rider to come along with some tools. Since I carry about 85 lbs. worth in my tool pack, we got him going.
