Six Days of Baja 1999

Arrival Day

Bob Mueller picked me up at the San Diego airport for the ride down to the start. Bob and I had ridden together in '98, as well as many miles on other trails over the years. This year he was working as a support team member.

View from the balcony. Beautiful property, and built a little back from the surf, so you don't have to worry about a winter storm taking out your home.

I had my farmer-Bob bib overalls on. Took a lot of ribbing, but they are sooo comfortable.
