Johann Brustmann worked for the German rail road. He died at age 47 and left behind widow Margarete Kolbert Brustmann (Nickname Rettle)and six children:Dorothea (grandmother and godmother of Antje Hofmann, Stant)
Joseph (was the last of the children to pass away in 1996 at age 90 in Augsburg)
Franziska (passed away at age 6, according to my mother, lots of photos were taken of the body of this child in the coffin, as there was something very special about this little girl)
Hans (lived in Nuernberg)
Valentine (lived in Bamberg and had a large bicylce business, his 2 daughter still live in Bamberg)
Baptist (was killed in World War II during a battle in Poland and left behind a widow and 3 children. His children are still living in Bamberg. He was very close to Margareta (Meta Stadter, Hofmann, Scheper) who was actually his niece, but they were only a few years apart in age, and they grew up as brother and sister)
