Hershell Vane Bell, 79, of Enola died yesterday (Nov. 21, 1993) at his home. Born March 27, 1914, in Enola, a son of the late George and Lou Dalton Bell, he was a farmer and a member of Crossroads Church of Christ. Survivors are his wife, Blanche Heffington Bell; a son, Pat Bell of Birmingham, Ala., three sisters, Ruby Heffington of Clinton, Glee Mitchell of Mayflower and Burnell Hurley of North Little Rock; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Heffington Cemetery in Enola with Bobby Coker officiating. Arrangements are by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. George Bell Dies at Hospital. Mrs. Lou Ida Bell, 82, of Enola died of a heart condition Tuesday (Jan. 14, 1964) at Memorial Hospital. She had been ill one day. Mrs. Bell, widow of George Bell, was born Sept. 15, 1881 at Enola, a daughter of George and Adeline Henry Dalton. She had lived all her life at Enola. She was a member of Barney Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Vane Bell of Enola; five daughters, Mrs. Otha White of Conway, Mrs. Ruby Heffington of Clinton, Mrs. Burnell Hurley of Little Rock and Mrs. Verna Luke and Mrs. Glee Shipley of Enola; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Phig of Paragould, Mrs. Amner Ingram of Huntsville and Mrs. Easter Matthews of Conway, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. J. E. Cobb at Enola Baptist Church. Burial will be in Heffington Cemetery by McNutt Funeral Home.
