From Kenneth Fair 3 Mar 1998: Surry Co, NC will Abstracts - "Will fro Barnabas fair, 2 Aug 1787, Rc 1787 refers to Tax Lists of 1772, 1772, 1782, 1785, 1787. Then says"The name appears in Moravian Record as Bernhard Fehr" [MR 2:798] Also says "John bernhard fehr immigrated from Wirtenberg on the ship Patience, 19 Sep 1749, see Rupp, THIRTY THOUSAND NAMES FO IMMIGRANTS IN pa, p.207"
Died of typhoid fever. All the other siblings were innoculated except for Cleota, who got typhoid later in life but survived.
